Treur succeeds in World Cheese Awards 2016
Treur Cheese triumphed at the World Cheese Awards 2016, which took place during the International Cheese Festival in Spain. It won with three cheeses.
Chevretta Aged won a Super Gold Award in the ‘Hard Goat’s Cheese’ category, and it was also named ‘Best Dutch Cheese.’
Treur’s Jersey Gouda Aged Organic won a Golden Award in the ‘Supreme Champion Cheeses’ category. This cheese was also named the Supreme Champion at the International Cheese Awards 2016 in Nantwich this summer.
Meanwhile, Gouda Weydeland V.S.O.C. was noted by the jury at the awards. The superior old cheese won a Silver Award in the ‘Gouda cheeses made before 1 December 2015’ category.
