Boucas CEO at Sodiaal Group

The Sodiaal Group has appointed Jorge Boucas as chief executive officer of the Sodiaal Group. He will take up his duties as of 1 February 2017.

Boucas, 44, a graduate of the Polytechnique and ENSTA, was previously chairman of the management board of the family group Roullier. He began his career as a strategy consultant for industrial groups such as McKinsey, before becoming industrial director of the Roullier Group in 2004. Between 2006 and 2012, he founded and developed NextEnergies, which in six years became a leading French maker of biomass boilers for industry. He sold it in 2012 to the Roullier Group, present in 116 countries, and where he became chairman in January 2015.

Boucas will carry out a Sodiaal’s new strategic project to take the group to a new stage of its development. In five years, Sodiaal has changed its dimension, notably with the takeover of Entremont. It has become a European actor present in all milk professions, and has managed to preserve its fundamentals at the heart of the crisis. It is now entering a new stage in its development, according to the company
