Celebrity chef line-up for International Cheese Awards

On 25-26 July, the 120th International Cheese Awards will be held in Cheshire, UK.

The event will showcase a line-up of well-known chefs in a demo kitchen, offering people the chance to see their cooking skills up close.

James Martin, a long-time supporter of the show, will be making an appearance once again. At last year’s show, he became a member of the prestigious Guilde Internationale des Fromagers for his commitment to championing the dairy industry.

Also making a return appearance is Will Holland, head chef at Coast in Pembrokeshire, named the best restaurant in Wales at the AA Hospitality Awards. Formerly head chef at La Becasse in Ludlow, Holland was awarded a Michelin star in 2009.

The event will also be attended by Sean Wilson, co-founder of The Saddleworth Cheese Company, and Jonathan Harrison, chef patron of The Sandpiper in Leyburn.

Last year’s awards attracted around 5,000 entries. Entries are still open for this year’s show, simply visit: http://www.formsinternationalcheeseawards.co.uk, download and complete the relevant forms and then submit online.
