Bauer wins DLG seal of approval

German dairy Bauer won 85 gold and six silver medals at the Europe-wide test of dairy products conducted by the DLG (German Agricultural Society).

In the category “acidic dairy products and desserts” Bauer scored points with natural yogurt, fruit yogurt, cheese and sour cream.

The results of the DLG sensory product evaluation take into account the influences of the raw material selection, the manufacturing technology and the recipe. They are supplemented by compulsory packaging and labelling tests as well as further laboratory analysis.

Only products that fulfill the DLG quality criteria during the analysis in the test centre receive the DLG award in gold, silver or bronze.
