Eko in Sweden goes Bio-based
Consumers across Sweden can now buy Arla Food’s Eko brand organic milk in Tetra Rex Bio-based, the world’s first carton package made entirely from renewable materials, Tetra Pak says. The one-litre carton, with TwistCap OSO 34 opening, uses plastics derived from sugar cane, plus paperboard; nothing more. Marked with “Bio-based”, it is the only fully renewable package that offers complete material traceability – so consumers know that every part of the package they hold in their hands is derived only from plants., according to the packaging giant.
