Lact’Union presents new flavours of Promess drinking yogurt

French dairy co-operative Lact’Union Group has expanded its Promess ambient dairy drinking dessert with two new flavours: strawberry and banana.

Made from 100% fresh French milk collected from the co-operative farms, this range uses Tetra Prisma 200ml Aseptic package to guarantee a long shelf-life at room temperature of ten months, without added preservatives.

Promess Ambient Drinking Yogurt is practical for on-the-go consumption and has been developed to withstand deliveries abroad and over long distances. The new flavours from the Promess range are intended for the export market in Asia, Africa and the Middle East.

“The launch of these two new flavoured products is part of the ongoing development of our offers, to bring value to our customers and consumers in our target markets,” said Alexandre Zeitlin, export director, Lactinov – part of the Lact’Union Group.

“We are trying to develop innovative offers and solutions for major exports, based on two key assets: the quality of our milk and our ability to offer innovative items with ambient storage and long shelf-life. This project is also the result of the solid partnership, developed between our teams and Tetra Pak’s because, in major exports, there are only team successes.”

Tetra Prisma Aseptic packaging is environmentally friendly with more than 68% of the packaging made of FSC certified paperboard, guaranteeing sustainable economic, social and environmental forest management. It is also fully recyclable and enjoys a second life being transformed into envelopes, boxes, paper, street furniture and more.

“We are very pleased to support the launch of Promess Ambient Drinking Yogurt alongside Lactinov,” said Gilles Tisserand, marketing director, Tetra Pak France & Benelux. “This range of drinking dairy desserts makes it possible to promote the quality of French milk to consumers all over the world. The Tetra Prisma Aseptic packaging is also perfectly adapted: it is practical, easy to use and offers a modern design, in line with the product.

“This launch is also the result of a strong partnership with Lactinov to design the best packaging solution for the export market. We are convinced of the potential of this range and look forward to Lactinov’s next innovations in this high-potential market.”

Halal certified, this range of dairy desserts will be presented at the Anuga food fair in Cologne, from 5-9 October 2019. These products will be on display at Lactinov’s stand, located in Hall 10.1, stand B010.
