Sycamore Process Engineering hosts Product Showcase Event

Sycamore Process Engineering hosted their first Product Showcase Event alongside their collaborative partners, Wafilin Systems, on Tuesday 16 May.

Located a stone’s throw away from our process engineering facilities at the prestigious Haynes Motor Museum in Somerset, the event invited over 50 customers to enjoy in-depth product seminars held by industry experts, a complimentary buffet lunch and drinks, and the exclusive reveal of our new skid mounted Whey Pasteuriser and Membrane Filtration System.

Manufactured for joint customer Volac International Ltd, the innovative products were displayed throughout the day to allow attendees to touch and see the quality between scheduled talks. Any product specifications and queries were then met by Sycamores’ own design engineering manager Joe Matthews, and Wafilins’ business development director Jos van Dalfsen, who together held a thorough and unmissable ‘Ask the Expert’ session towards the end of the day.

The exclusive invite-only event came with great success. Both Pasteuriser and Membrane Filtration seminars and Volac’s Group Process technical manager Phil Evans’ presentation on Dairy Nutrition for a Healthier World were greatly received by all and led to a bustling and fruitful networking session as the event drew to a close.

Paul Manning, business development & commercial director of Sycamore Process Engineering, was extremely pleased, saying, “What an event! Never have we been able to get so many like-minded knowledgeable people under one roof. The original idea of a small, low-key customer event soon grew into a fully-grown Pasteurisation and Membrane Filtration knowledge-based exclusive.”

The showcase proved to be another considerable success for the collaborative partnership between Sycamore and Wafilin, as Paul continued, “The collaboration with our partner Wafilin Systems has been tremendous and we remain confident we are the go-to company for end-to-end Process Solutions and Membrane Filtration opportunities within the Dairy, Food, and Beverage industry. But most of all, a huge thank you to Volac for putting their trust in both of our companies and for helping us showcase this great event to our customers.”

From Henk Schonewille, Wafilins’ CEO: “Through this successful Product Showcase Event we’ve not only demonstrated our commitment to meeting the needs of our customers in the UK but also showcased the innovative solutions that will help shape the future of the industry and our collaboration with our partner Sycamore Process Engineering”.
