Anhydro show continuing strong growth

Anhydro Holding turnover in 2007 amounted to DKK 1.5 billion (€201m), an increase of 16% over 2006.

Turnover in 2007 represents an increase of almost DKK 1 billion (€134m) compared with 2004, when Anhydro Holding was founded on the basis of acquisitions of six companies in Denmark, England, Germany, the Netherlands and the US.

The year’s result is particularly due to the strong position of Anhydro in evaporation and drying of waste products derived from bio-ethanol production. The considerable strength of the company’s position in the dairy and food manufacturing industries has been further reinforced by a highly satisfactory start of newly established companies in Brazil and China.

In 2007, Anhydro also sharpened its focus on Eastern Europe with a new presence in Poland and Russia. This new global presence has also contributed to a general increase in sales of industrial solutions.

Customers have taken advantage of the test centre in Sƒ¸borg, Denmark, where customers can pilot new business opportunities in the field of evaporation and drying. This has resulted in a number of new fields of application.
