Unilever appoints new head for US ice cream segment
Global food company Unilever has appointed John LeBoutillier as chairman of the new US ice cream segment team.
LeBoutillier will join Unilever on 1 December and will also become a member of Unilever’s North American foods regional operations leadership team. Previously he has held senior leadership positions at Kraft Foods. His most recent role was senior vice president and general manager of Kraft’s coffee division. He will be taking over from Eric Walsh who is retiring. Walsh is currently chairman of the North American ice cream segment, which has now been divided into US and Canadian portfolios.
Michael Polk, president, Unilever Americas, says: “John’s leadership, experience and marketing expertise will be a great asset for Unilever’s ice cream business in the US.”
