Wyke Farms has been awarded first place in the cheese and butter classes at the Devon County Show.

Wyke Farms, the UK’s largest independent cheese producer and milk processor, won two cheese classes and two butter classes at the Devon County Show. The company was also announced as Reserve Champion in the overall cheese classes.
Wyke Farms won first prize with their Double Gloucester as well as winning the ‘Hard pressed cheese category’ with its ‘Leskol’ branded half fat cheddar. Wyke Farms butter was awarded first place for both the Farmhouse and Creamery classes.
Richard Clothier, third generation family member and managing director says: ‘Being judged as winners for both our cheeses and butter at this particular event is an amazing accolade, Devon is renowned for the variety of quality of the food produced there. We are delighted that the distinctive flavour of our traditional 100 year old recipe is recognised as something very special.”
