Jongia (UK) announces winner of its 2013 scholarship

Jongia (UK) has announced that Stephen Watney of Brinkworth Dairy is the winner of the 2013 Jongia scholarship. Jongia is now accepting applications for the 2014 scholarship.

Aims of the Jongia scholarship include motivating employees in the dairy industry to choose a career in cheese making, and to encourage employers to invest in the dairy training and education of their staff.

Jongia believes that education and training are essential to ensuring a better dairy industry for the future. The dairy that nominates one of its employees for these awards will be required to say how it intends to motivate that employee.

The successful candidate will be able to choose from either a Professional Hard Cheesemaking Course at the School for Artisan Food, Nottinghamshire, or a Soft Cheese course at AB Cheesemaking, Cheshire.
