The amount of drinking milk that Arla will produce in 2014 would be enough to potentially serve 3.5 milk glasses for every person on the planet, the company says. This number of 250ml glasses, more specifically

25,297,087,378, will come from Arla’s fresh, UHT and milk powder operations around the world. This amount represents a bit over half of Arla¹s entire
milk production expected for 2014. The UK is Arla Foods¹ largest market, contributing 25% of the annual global turnover.

Just to get an idea of how much milk that is, lining up all the glasses would be enough to circle the Earth’s equator 47 times. The current global population is 7.2 billion people.
