Harrison steps up at NFU

The British National Farmers Union has named Rob Harrison as chairman of its national dairy board, replacing Mansel Raymond. Harrison says, “There are pressing issues facing the dairy industry, including the recent retail price cuts and price war. I will be seeking urgent meetings with processors in the coming weeks to look for ways of addressing these challenges as a supply chain.” Michael Oakes is replacing Harrison as the board’s vice chairman.
