Dare to Dairy in Rotterdam

A thousand people from around the world are expected in Rotterdam in October (16 – 21) to attend the IDF World Dairy Summit and the message this year is Dare to Dairy.

The organising committee has chosen a new approach in engaging the outside world to have an inside look. Representatives of civil society are taking the stage to debate with the international dairy community about animal welfare, animal health, climate and energy and sustainable food and the question on everybody’s lips ‘How could dairy products contribute to feeding nine billion people?’

The summit (16 to 21 October) includes representative speakers from the World Wildlife Fund, the US animal protection agency and the Dutch Environmental Assessment Agency, among others.
