Lactalis gets go ahead for Spanish takeover

FRANCE – European Commission competition authorities have cleared Lactalis to complete the takeover of Spanish companies Grupo Prado Cervera and Central Lechera Vallisoletana from the 3A group.

A statement by the EC said that although Lactalis and 3A had operations in the same markets, the combined market value of their assets would remain modest.
