Organic milk sales increase in Germany
Sales of organic milk are currently growing significantly in Germany.
Organic products are especially benefitting from the fact that people have now started to eat more at home.
Rüdiger Brügmann from the Bioland association assumes that the trend will continue. The organic milk market has been growing organically for many years.
“These increases have gradually come back and have been fueled even more by the Corona crisis”, he claims. Organic dairies in the south of Germany are now looking for new suppliers. This is especially true in Upper Bavaria and the Upper Palatinate.”
