Milk production remains stable despite fewer producers
NETHERLANDS –, Milk production remained virtually unchanged last year at 845,000kg, more than 100,000kg than in 1995, according to the Dutch Dairy Board.
In addition, the year 2000 saw 13,000 people employed in the Dutch dairy industry, 2,000 fewer than in 1995 and 5,000 below levels in 1990.
