Exel Logistics Tankfreight has opened a new regional distribution centre for Milk Marque in Thirsk, UK. The site is designed to consolidate Milk Marque’s collection and distribution in the Yorkshire area.
The 283m2 distribution centre, built on the Dalton Airfield Industrial Estate replaces two centres in Starbeck and Northallerton. It will service Milk Marque’s central Yorkshire milk field, collecting from over 650 dairy farmers.
Tankfreight’s distribution contract for Milk Marque has been in operation since August 1994. It includes the farm collection of milk and delivery to dairies and creameries
