Suiza buys majority stake in Leche Celta
US processor Suiza Foods has acquired a majority interest in Spanish UHT milk manufacturer Leche Celta.
Suiza, one of the worlds top ten dairy companies, will pay $45 million (r45m) for its stake in the Pontedeume-based concern, which reported 1999 sales of r150 million.
