Logopak International Limited, a manufacturer of industrial labelling systems, has announced the replacement of all original labelling equipment at Arla’s flagship site in Leeds. This major upgrade marks the end of over 20 years of continuous service from the original Logopak systems and the beginning of a new chapter with cutting-edge technology designed for enhanced performance and future-proofing.

The installation involved the full replacement of legacy equipment with Logopak’s latest generation PL6 control platform, delivering advanced functionality, greater reliability, and improved integration capabilities. The new systems feature stainless steel construction, precision encoders, and bespoke enclosures, all engineered to meet the high hygiene standards and operational demands of the dairy industry.

Logopak worked closely with Arla’s engineering team to ensure a seamless transition with minimal disruption to production. The bespoke solutions were tailored to meet the specific requirements of the Leeds site, reinforcing Logopak’s commitment to long-term partnership and customer-specific innovation.

“This project showcases the durability of our original systems and the forward-thinking design of our new platform,” said Howard Jagger, MD at Logopak. “We’re proud to continue our longstanding relationship with Arla by delivering robust, future-ready labelling solutions that support their operational excellence.”

The upgrade reflects Arla’s ongoing investment in automation and efficiency, ensuring that their labelling infrastructure is aligned with the latest industry standards and regulatory requirements.
