Vandersterre, a family-owned Dutch cheese company, is presenting two new Landana cheeses at the New Product Expo during PLMA 2026 in May in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. At PLMA 2026, it will feature several of its brands, including Landana, as well as Prima Donna, Landana Jersey, Boer’n Trots, and Holland Jersey milk. Together, they showcase a range of Dutch cheese-making styles, combining craftsmanship with creativity and innovation, the company says.
Landana Apfelstrüdel and Landana Blue Cacao have been selected for the show. The cheeses are produced at specialised dairies in the Netherlands. Landana Apfelstrüdel combines the mild, creamy texture of traditional Gouda with notes of cinnamon and apple. The subtle sweetness complements the gentle spiciness of the cheese, resulting in a flavor profile reminiscent of apple strudel.
Landana Blue Cacao combines the bold flavor of Penicillium Roqueforti with a buttery texture. The spicy, salty notes of the blue veins blend with the slightly bitter crunch of real cacao nibs.
