County Milk Products has announced the launch of its powder blending service in the UK, strengthening its offering to customers across the food, feed and nutrition sectors with blending solutions designed around individual production requirements, the company says.
The service enables customers to create bespoke or standardised blends using both dairy and non-dairy ingredients. It allows customers to either supply their own raw materials or utilise County Milk Products’ procurement network to source ingredients. Blends can then be produced as finished products or semi-finished goods depending on operational requirements and routes to market.
The company’s blending capabilities support a broad range of applications and sectors, including bakery, confectionery, dairy, convenience foods, foodservice, nutrition and animal feed. The service also offers a wide range of packaging formats to suit different supply chains and end markets. Options include capsules, sachets, pouches and tubs, 10kg, 15kg, 20kg and 25kg bags, IBC bulk bags and bulk road tanker formats, providing solutions for retail, foodservice and industrial applications.
It operates from two dedicated blending facilities that are BRC “AA” accredited and GMP+ certified for feed production. Founded more than 30 years ago, County Milk Products has grown from a small dairy ingredients supplier into one of the UK’s largest family-owned dairy companies. The company’s continued growth has seen it expand its technical expertise and manufacturing capabilities to support a wider range of markets and customer needs, it says.
Natalie Bass, powder blending sales lead at County Milk Products, says, “This is a fantastic service and something we’re really proud of. We’re committed and proactive in meeting the needs of our partners and are known for finding creative solutions to problems and helping to maximise opportunities. We are a team that truly care about working with our customers to get the mix exactly right, every single time.”
