Avioincar is offering its plastic aging racks, which are used for ripening, brining and drying cheeses, allowing an optimal ventilation and support of the products, the company says. The grilling allows greater ventilation for better seasoning and less mould formation. The stackable grill is used for salting, drying and aging of cheeses such as pecorino, caprini, caciotte and others. The grid is useful for maturing cheeses, as it is perforated and raised in order to allow optimal air circulation to improve and accelerate the maturing process and reduce the formation of mould.
The product is stackable and has three measures in height 150, 180 or 210mm, depending on the size of the cheese to be stored using a small space. Sturdy and stable, it may also be easily stacked on euro pellets or on wheels for better use of the available space.
The racks are manufactured of food-grade polypropylene (PP) in either white or blue colours, and dimensions range from 760 by 580 by 210mm, 180mm or 150 mm, all stackable. All the food-grade polypropylene items are made with certified raw materials and are suitable for contact with foodstuffs, in compliance with CE regulations and directives The Euro pallet also allows easy and comfortable manoeuvrability inside the cells and storage and seasoning and salting.
