Roelof Joosten appointed at FrieslandCampina

Roelof Joosten, currently managing director of FrieslandCampina Domo, has been appointed executive director of the business group Ingredients of FrieslandCampina. He will take over Frans Visser’s responsibilities from 1 January 2011. Visser is retiring. Joosten will oversee the continuing development of special ingredients for the food and pharmaceutical industries. He will report to chief executive officer Cees ‘t Hart.
Joosten has been managing director of FrieslandCampina Domo (milk and whey ingredients for use in infant, medical and cellular nutrition) since 1 January 2009. From November 2004 he was managing director of Friesland Foods Domo. Prior to this, Joosten was employed as regional vice president Europe at Quest International.
