First Milk (UK) has unveiled plans to open a new creamery on the Mull of Kintyre peninsula in Scotland.

The company’s investment, which has received praise from the National Farmers Union (NFU), will secure the future of 40 dairy farms and around 100 jobs.
First Milk announced plans to replace its existing Campbeltown creamery, which is supplied by 42 dairy farms in Kintyre, at the start of July.
