Tatura Milk appoints new CEO
New Zealander and Fonterra senior manager Aidan Coleman has been appointed chief executive officer of Australian Tatura Milk.
He takes over from Maurice Van Ryn who was an interim appointment when Bega Cheese took over the Tatura company last year.
Tatura chairman Barry Irvin says Coleman has worked in the international dairy industry for 23 years, initially based with the Tatua company in New Zealand before moving to Sri Lanka to lead New Zealand Milk Lanka. After four years he moved to Australia as chief executive officer of Bonland Dairies.
Coleman has been responsible for key acquisitions including Favourite Foods, Norco sales marketing and distribution business and the Nestle yogurt and dairy dessert business in his recent role as director of business development.
Van Ryn will be returning to Bega and continuing his work in business development and special projects.
