Donald Moore
Donald Moore is the executive director of the Global Dairy Platform, which works to promote the nutrient richness of dairy products, bring balance and research to the role of milkfat in the diet and provide clarity on how dairy is managing its relationship with the environment. From the dairy industry to the information technology and business consulting arenas, Moore has held a variety of general management, strategic and marketing roles.
Prior to this, he served as director ingredients marketing for Fonterra Cooperative Group. He has also held various senior executive roles with Fonterra, including director of business development for the global ingredients business and regional managing director for Oceania. Moore was also a member of the Fonterra sustainability leadership council and the food and regulatory assurance council.
Born in Northern Ireland, Moore moved to New Zealand in the 1970s where he finished his schooling before joining the IT industry. Before entering the dairy industry, Moore spent nine years as chief executive of New Zealand’s largest independent business and information management consulting firm where he oversaw its international expansion opening offices across South East Asia.

Jeremy Hill
Jeremy Hill
Jeremy Hill is chief technology officer at Fonterra and has been president of the International Dairy Federation since November 2012. He has been a member of the IDF board since 2002, and says his role in Fonterra really complements his role as IDF president. As Fonterra’s chief technology officer he am involved in nearly all aspects of the company where science and technology is important, including such things as R&D and technology enabled innovation, sustainability, nutrition, food safety and quality, standards and regulations.
He is overseeing the IDF at a time when dairy’s output and demands for products is evolving rapidly.

Dr Judith Bryans
Dr Judith Bryans
Dr Bryans was previously the director of The Dairy Council and is respected internationally as an advocate for the dairy industry and the integrity of its products. She has long worked on behalf of the dairy industry in that role, getting dairy-related information out to health professionals, media and government agencies and speaking widely about the benefits of dairy. She succeeded former director general Jim Begg, who retired.

Jenny Deeprose
Jenny Deeprose
Jenny Deeprose has written extensively on the cheese industry both in the UK and abroad for Dairy Industries International. She is a well-respected cheese judge and grader and has worked at such shows as the Salon du Fromage in Paris, as well as countless British cheese judging events.

Claire MacEvilly
Claire MacEvilly
Claire MacEvilly is the communications manager for Food for Health Ireland. Claire has a masters in nutrition communications and previously worked for Kellogg’s, Hill and Knowlton PR and the British Nutrition Foundation. Claire is a qualified public health nutritionist and prior to joining FHI she was the Senior Communications Manager with the Medical Research Council Human Nutrition Research in Cambridge, UK. She has particular expertise in developing communications strategies for research to engage with diverse audiences including the public, policy makers and practitioners. She is Director of the European Nutrition Leadership Advanced Programme and a member of the Advisory Board for the Journal Nutrition Bulletin.

Nigel White
Nigel White
Nigel White has more than 35 years of experience working in the dairy industry in a variety of roles both overseas and in the UK. As secretary for the British Cheese Board and the Stilton Cheese Makers’ Association, he is the general spokesperson on cheese on behalf of these two bodies. He is also known as a cheese educator through talks to consumers and tutored tastings with journalists and is an accomplished conference speaker on a wide range of cheese related topics. Nigel has extensive radio experience over the last 15 years on both national and regional stations and has appeared on BBC Breakfast and Sky News, as well as in Channel 4 news items and various farming and cookery programmes, including Ready Steady Cook. His former roles include sales and marketing director and operations director, both for the Milk Marketing Board, with a secondment to the European Commission. Nigel has also undertaken overseas projects in India, Czech Republic and Turkey.
