London calling for Bauer yogurt

Yogurt specialist Bauer from Bavaria in Germany is taking full advantage of the promotional opportunities of the Olympic Games in London this summer by launching its own “London Edition” of speciality products for the event. The processor is emphasising the British connection with what it terms “English flavours” for its new Olympic yogurts: toffee, lemon cheesecake, mint chocolate and apple pie.

Bauer’s London Edition yogurts are to be launched in 150g pots with dominant red, white and blue colouring and featuring an image of the Big Ben tower. Sales in Britain (and the rest of northern Europe) are to start in July with supply planned to last for a month. The rrp in Germany is put at €0.49 per pot.
