Supreme champion award for Milk Link

Milk Link’s Tuxford & Tebbutt creamery in the UK has been awarded the UK supreme champion trophy for its Blue Stilton cheese at this year’s Frome Agriculture & Cheese show. The creamery picked up a total of seven awards, including five awards for its blue cheese. The co-operative continued its run of success at the show, collecting 36 awards, including a grand total of sixteen gold, nine silver and ten bronze, in addition to the UK supreme champion trophy. Milk Link’s Taw Valley creamery, picked up 18 out of the 36 awards, which included eight gold awards and the Danisco Grand Prix trophy for its mature cheddar cheese.
Cornish Country Larder, based in North Cornwall, picked up two gold awards and was named the overall best West Country cheese for its Trevarrian Brie, whilst the Llandyrnog creamery collected a total of five awards, including two golds for the mature cheddar. Lockerbie creamery, based in Dumfries picked up a three awards including gold for its mature cheddar cheese.
