Arla, Constantia Packaging consider Danapak options
Arla Foods and packaging firm Constantia Packaging are looking to sell off the Danish Danapak Flexibles, their joint packaging venture, to focus on core markets respectively.
Constantia Packaging holds 60% of the Danish Danapak Flexibles Group. Arla Foods, the largest Scandinavian dairy enterprise, is a joint venture partner holding a further 40%. Danapak Flexibles manufactures flexible packaging products for the dairy, food and pharmaceutical industries.
After five years of joint participation, the two joint venture partners are now, in agreement with the management of Danapak Flexibles, examining all the options available with regard to the enterprise’s future form and shareholding structure.
