New regulations from China

In the wake of the DCD contaiminated milk powder issue in New Zealand, the Chinese government has brought in new regulations. As of 1 May, there will be new rules concerning the import and export of dairy products. That being said, the New Zealand government says that they are not worried by the laws, and one of China’s biggest infant formula producers, Yashili International, is still going ahead with its plan to build a milk processing plant in Pokeno, New Zealand.
