Dairy Crest appoints Martin Oakes as executive director

Dairy Crest has appointed Martin Oakes as executive managing director of its dairies division and as a member of the firm’s board.

Oakes comes to Dairy Crest from the role of group logistics and IT director at Somerfield, a position he held for six years.
Oakes replaces Mark Allen who was appointed chief executive of Dairy Crest upon Drummond Hall’s retirement.
