Danone shuts three European plants

French dairy giant Danone is closing facilities in Germany, Italy and Hungary, citing poor sales, resulting in a loss of 325 jobs. The sites marked for closure by mid-2015 are Casale Cremasco, Italy, Hagenow, Germany and Budapest, Hungary. Production volumes will shift to factories in Belgium, Poland, Germany and France.
