Kazakhstan opens up for Kyrgyzstan dairy
Eight dairy plants in Kyrgyzstan now have permission to export their products to Almaty, Jambyl, Kyzyl-Orda and the South Kazakhstan regions as of 7 July, according to the Ministry of Agriculture of Kazakhstan said. Temporary restrictions were imposed on four plants, out of a total of 12.
Veterinary services of the customs union countries inspected 11 dairy plants of Kyrgyzstan for quality and safety of milk and products at the end of December 2012. They found several veterinary and sanitary irregularities.
