Tims Dairy celebrates 65 in UK

Tims Dairy, founded in London in 1949 by the uncle of the current owners, Euripides Nicolaou, is now celerating 65 years in business. “We are terrifically proud of our Greek heritage and our experience making authentic tasting Greek style yogurts as part of our range. We have enjoyed every minute of our time and feel justifiably proud of our role in the dairy industry” says managing director Chris Timotheou.
In 1960 the dairy moved to Camden in north London, and in 1996 moved to its current site, a former dairy in Denham Lane, Chalfont St Peter in Buckinghamshire in the Chiltern Hills. From here it produces a retail and foodservice range of Greek style, wholemilk and low fat yogurts and cultured creams. To celebrate, it has launched a commemorative recipe on its website, Greco Rosa Crema, which was served as a dessert at the family table and became one of its first retail products.
Tims Dairy is also marking the occasion with a prize draw to win a Nutri Bullet smoothie maker worth £99.99 or a copy of the wonderful Mediterranean cookbook by Belinda Harley, Roast Lamb in the Olive Groves, at www.timsdairy.co.uk.
