New COO of Consumer Products Asia at FrieslandCampina
FrieslandCampinais has announced that Piet Hilarides has assumed the role of chief operating officer of its Consumer Products Asia business group.
Piet will be based in Singapore where he will assume responsibility for the production and sales of the company’s range of dairy products to consumers in Asia. Piet joined the company in 1994 and has since held a variety of management positions, most recently COO of the Cheese, Butter and Milkpowder business group from 2009 to 2014.
Commenting on his new role, Piet Hilarides says, “I am delighted to take up my new position in Asia, a very important region for FrieslandCampina as we continue to implement our international growth plan in one of the fastest growing dairy regions in the world. FrieslandCampina has established a long heritage in Asia, with some of our brands, including Dutch Lady and Friso, being amongst the most popular and well-established in the region. I am looking forward to working with my colleagues to build on the great progress we are already achieving in providing millions of children and families in Asia with valuable nutrition every day.”
