UK – Speciality cheesemaker Shepherd’s Purse has won a contract to supply supermarket chain Waitrose with its Buffalo Blue cheese.

The product, made from milk produced by water buffalo in Yorkshire, joins the company’s cows’ milk Yorkshire Blue cheese, which is also sold in Waitrose stores.
