UK – Blended cheese specialist Ilchester Cheese has been sold to its senior management team for an undisclosed amount.

The deal is backed by Inflexion Private Equity, a London-based firm which specialises in management buyouts, and lead by Ilchester’s Melvin Glynn, Linda Retter and Gary Childs.

Commenting on the news, Glynn said: “We intend to build upon the company’s reputation for high quality and good service over the years to come.”
