Arla introduces fruit and vegetable yogurts

Arla Foods has introduced fruit and vegetable yogurts, Arla Big Yogs. The product is designed to help parents encourage children to eat vegetables and has added vitamins and minerals to help support their growth and development.

Independent research revealed that 95% of parents questioned liked the fact that the product contained vegetables, as they can find it hard to feed their children vegetables in their usual format.

The product is made from 3% fat whole milk yogurt, natural fruit and vegetables and enriched with Vitamin D and calcium, needed for normal growth and development of bones in children.

Naturally sweetened with fruit juice concentrate children have the option of four flavours in two product SKU’s: Raspberry & Beetroot, Sweet Potato and Mango and Blueberry & Pumpkin and Strawberry & Carrot.

Holly Twiss, brand manager at Arla, says, “Since we launched Arla Big Milk in 2015, we have been excited by the response the range has received from parents. The launch of Arla Big Yogs demonstrated Arla’s commitment to helping parents ensure their little ones get the nutrients they need to grow strong and healthy by creating delicious products enriched with essential vitamins and minerals.”
