Wiseman overcomes price increases
UK – Robert Wiseman said yesterday that it was pleased with the progress it had made this year, having so far overcome increases in petrol, energy and plastic costs.
It also talked about the reshuffling of fresh milk supplies over the last six months, which it greatly benefited from.
It will now supply an extra 100 million litres of milk a year due to larger contracts with Tesco and Sainsbury supermarkets, beginning in the first quarter of 2005. However, it also revealed its disappointment that it lost its milk supply to Asda in May.
