Zott helps over the holidays

Around 516 packages were sent to the poorest people in Europe by the German dairy Zott in Mertingen in December. The Christmas packages consisted of basic food, sweets, hygiene items and small gifts for children, families, elderly people and people with disabilities living in poverty.
The employees of Zott as well as their relatives have participated in this Johanniter-Action for years. In all departments in Mertingen and Günzburg, items were collected, bought and packed for the Christmas trucks.
For the first time, the dairy also contributed 200 filled packages to the campaign. In addition, as in previous years, the dairy provided a truck and paid the necessary costs, such as fuel and tolls.
With around 1,200 Christmas packages in the 40-tonner truck, one of the areas visited this time was the Bistrita-Nasaud district in northern Romania.
