Ornua Deutschland adds executives

Ornua Deutschland, responsible for the marketing of the Irish Kerrygold dairy products, has a new management structure. Under the managing director Gisbert Kügler, four executives from Ornua Deutschland have been appointed to management.
The restructuring takes account of the rapid growth for Kerrygold. From 2004 to today, sales have increased from €125 million to almost €550 million. The number of employees in the company has also doubled.
In the new organisation Matthias Brune, previously head of marketing and innovation, has taken over the newly created position of marketing and sales director. Thomas Wilberg will be responsible as COO for logistics, purchasing, production and technology.
Michael Schenkel is CFO for finance and IT, and Karl-Heinz Kley will be responsible for business development and strategy as director.
Holger Spee-Girbig, previously key account manager in the company, is assuming the role of sales manager, and marketing manager Verena Schley is now marketing director.
Since 2004 Ornua sales have tripled, and the sales volume has increased from 28,000 to more than 70,000 tons. In September the third stage of the expansion of Ornua in Neukirchen-Vluyn was concluded and the 10-year anniversary of the site was celebrated.
