Dairy Crest: UK industry must add value
UK – The dairy industry must add value to its products if it is to survive though the Mid Term Review of the Common Agricultural Policy, which will come into force in July.
That was the message from Dairy Crest chairman Simon Oliver as the company reported its annual results this week.
“In the longer term there is a need to grow the proportion of added value dairy products produced by the UK dairy industry,” he said.
