SPAIN – Dairy processor Corporaci in Alimentaria Pe asanta SA (Capsa) has launched Spain’s first CLA-enriched milk.

The premium long-life milk has been launched under Capsa’s Central Lechera Asturiana brand and is called Naturl nea.

CLA helps to reduce body fat by inhibiting the formation of fat tissue in the body and by turning existing fat into energy. The CLA used is from Cognis’ Tonalin range.

Commenting on the launch, Capsa chief executive Pedro Astals said: “In the future, brand names will only survive if they can combine optimal product performance with an unmistakable market identity.”
