UK – A new national cheese survey has been launched to help define the food manufacturing industry’s changing trends in cheese ingredient use.

Commissioned by Meadow Cheese, the UK’s leading industrial supplier of cheese ingredients, the survey is intended to create a greater understanding between retailers, manufacturers and ingredient suppliers.

“The National Cheese Survey will help develop a knowledge base for one critical ingredient when the information collated is released in June,” said Meadow’s managing director Clive Bennet. “We are taking this initiative very seriously and I believe it sets an example for other ingredient manufacturers.” The survey will be open until 30 May, and all personnel involved in food manufacturing are encouraged to complete the online survey at www.cheesesurvey.co.uk.
