Land O’Lakes and Bongards whey agreement

USA – Bongards Creameries and Land O’Lakes have entered into a whey marketing agreement for Bongards’ whey proteins and other whey products.

Under the agreement, Land O’Lakes will market Bongards’ line of whey products, including Prestige whey proteins. Land O’Lakes will market these products in addition to their own line of whey proteins, PowerPro.

“We are pleased to be working with Land O’Lakes,” said Roger Engelmann, chief executive of Bongards’ Creameries. “They provide marketing expertise in a highly technical industry and will also introduce the Bongards name and whey protein products to a new and growing market.” Earlier this year Bongards purchased the Perham, Minnesota production facility from Land O’Lakes to produce Prestige whey proteins.
