SWITZERLAND/UK – Swiss dairy company Emmi is to launch its aloe vera yogurt and drinking yogurt in the UK.

The product has been sold in Europe and Asia for five years. After consumer testing and trials in the UK, Emmi’s partner May and Raeburn has decided it is ready to launch it in the UK. “The test market has been a tremendous success, with sales increasing steadily every week,” said May and Raeburn sales and marketing director Peter Massey.

The use of aloe vera goes back to Egyptian times, when it was thought to bestow beauty, health and immortality.
