FRANCE/GERMANY – France’s number one cheesemaker Bongrain will take over Unilever Deutschland’s leading soft cheeses Bresso and Milkana, pending government approval.

The deal also includes the Unilever cheese plant in Kempten, which employs 530 people, and some minor brands.
