FINLAND – Valio is to launch a new low fat cheese without a rubbery texture.

The company will launch the Polar 5 cheese, which contains only 5% fat, in Finland later this month.

Designed for use in sandwiches, the company claims that Polar 5 is soft, easy to slice, tasty and does not contain a large amount of added salt. The Emmental-type cheese is produced at its Joensuu plant.
