School milk drive a ‘success’
UK – The Dairy Council says its School Milk Campaign has resulted in a 21% increase in the number of children drinking milk between lessons.
New figures published by the Council suggest that 13,480 new pupils now have milk in their break-times, which equates to an extra 485,000 litres of milk a year.
The School Milk Campaign started in September 2001 and ended in March this year.
